Standard English Course

Four daily lessons guarantee effective learning, while the morning or afternoon remains free for extra-curricular activities.

Intensive English Course 
Whether you are a complete beginner or simply wish to brush up on your English, a Intensive Language Course will meet your requirements. This is the perfect compromise between learning the language and enjoying your free time. Six daily lessons guarantee effective learning, while the morning or afternoon remains free for extra-curricular activities.

TOEFL Preparation Course
The Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is an English proficiency test required by many universities where English is the language of instruction. At TLP we prepare students for the new internet-based TOEFL test.  Our small classes with a maximum of 8 students provide excellence in preparing students to write the TOEFL exam, and our graduates consistently outscore students from other schools. The TOEFL exam tests many aspects of English, such as Reading, Writing, Listening,Grammar and Speaking.

TOEIC/ IELTS Preparation Courses
The Test of English for International CommunicationTM (TOEIC) measures the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment.
IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.

Private English Lessons

Private One on One Lessons for ages 13 - 17
We offer private lessons in English, French and Spanish to children and teenagers. We also offer small groups throughout the year upon request.
Choose from 2, 4 or 6 daily lessons in your chosen language English, French or Spanish

Summer Teenager Program for teens aged 16 - 18
Our teen summer program offers daily English lessons combined with a full schedule of sports, leisure, cultural activities and excursions in and around Toronto.  Our program is designed for mature, independent, teenager students who have prior international travel experience and have some knowledge of the language. Limited individual supervision is offered at the school and there is a lot of free time outside of the classroom after school and on weekends.  Our Standard summer program offers 20 group English lessons per week in a maxium group of 15 international students. Classes are normally held in the mornings Monday to Friday leaving the afternoon's free for cultural and social activities.
