Complete Men's Hairdressing / Barbering Course for Beginners:  The Saks Complete Men’s Hairdressing / Barbering Course for Beginners will qualify you in just 10 weeks. Or, enrol on our weekly evening class and qualify in just 25 weeks. Men’s hairdressing / barbering is a specialist skill in demand with the growth of the men’s hairdressing and barbering industry. This qualification will be to a NVQ level 2 in mens hairdressing.

Fast Track Hairdressing NVQ Level 2 For Beginners:  Love to become a top hairdresser but can't afford to take years to train? The Saks Academies Fast Track Hair NVQ Level 2 Course for Beginners has been specifically designed for those who want to qualify as a hairdresser – fast. Qualify in as little as 26 weeks.

Fast Track Hairdressing NVQ Level 2 For Beginners:  (evening) - 1 year course

Fast Track Hairdressing NVQ Level 2 for Beginners:  (Saturdays) - 1 saturday session per week  (38 weeks)

Afro-Caribbean Hairdressing:  The course would cover all the aspects of the European units and skills, the only differing units would be the optionals. The two most technically beneficial units would be plaiting and adding hair using basic techniques and perm, relax and neutralise African Caribbean hair.

Spring Summer Trends: Advanced cut & colour techniques. Working at the cutting edge of fashion, the Saks Art Team will share their knowledge, provoke your creativity and share with you the latest 'Trends' in cut and colour techniques for 2010.

Autumn Winter Trends: Advanced cut & colour techniques. Working at the cutting edge of fashion, the Saks Art Team will share their knowledge, provoke your creativity and share with you the latest 'Trends' in cut and colour techniques for 2010.

Simply Saks: The Foundations of quality cutting. Never underestimate the power of a great classic haircut. This cutting only course shares the Saks signature haircuts and techniques that form the foundations of creativity and quality salon work.

Total Create: Taught by the Saks Art Team and incorporating hands-on workshops, this comprehensive course explores Saks classic, advanced, barbering and dressing techniques. This course is ideal for Continual Professional Development. This course is designed for groups of over six people.

Freestyle: This is the ultimate inspirational course for experienced stylists who are ready to push their creativity to the max!

Barbering: Male grooming is an essential offering of a cool salon’s menu. This course shares the latest trends in men’s hairdressing.

Dressing Hair: Dressing long hair is a skill that challenges many hairdressers at all levels. This course shares the latest trends in dressing long hair.

Nail techniques: Four days intense training covering acrylic, gel nail extension and sculptured nails.

Fast Track Beauty NVQ Level 2 For Beginners: Love to become a top beauty therapist but can't afford to take years to train? The Saks Academies Fast Track Beauty NVQ Level 2 Course for Beginners has been specifically designed for those who want to qualify as a beauty therapist – fast.

Fast Track Beauty NVQ Level 3: The Beauty NVQ Level 3 is the perfect follow on for those who have completed the Level 2 course and will give you competency in specialist massage techniques and holistic therapies.

Manicure & Pedicure: (1-day course) In this course you will learn everything from; anatomy and physiology of the nail, hand and lower arm, shaping nails to suit clients natural shape, cuticle work, exfoliation, basic to luxury manicure, pedicure, paraffin application, enamel application and french polish. Health and safety training will also be provided. A manual will be provided and certificate awarded.

Make-up Master Class: This course covers all aspects of day, evening, fashion and photographic make-up.

Advanced Make-Up Class: This course builds on foundation knowledge to expand and fine-tune your make-up skills.

Thermal Stone Therapy: A therapeutic massage using holistic practices and warm stones.

Thermal Auricular Therapy: A holistic treatment used to aid the removal of excessive ear wax using ear candling methods and facial lymph drainage techniques.

Eyebrow Threading: Eyebrow Threading is a form of temporary hair removal, an ancient manual technique similar to plucking.

Reflexology: A holistic treatment designed to rebalance the body systems through the feet.

Manicure: This course covers all areas of manicure.
