Compact Camera Basics Course:
If you have a Compact Digital Camera (manual or automatic), and want to understand all it's functions and settings, this course will equip you with the knowledge and tools to ignite your creativity and imagination. This is an intensive hands on workshop where you will teach you how to take photographs in different conditions using all the key features of your camera.
DSLR Beginners Course:
Our beginners Digital SLR workshop is a full & fun day of hands-on tuition, providing you with the skills to get better results from your DSLR camera and get your camera off auto mode! This one day intensive course will teach you how to take advantage of the functions and features your DSLR camera has to offer and we will teach you a range of techniques enabling you to take photographs you can be proud of.
Flash in the City Course:
Our camera flash course will teach you to get the most out of your speedlight camera flash, both on the camera and off the camera. Make the most of flat days, using flash to bring your images to life. You will learn how to use the flash to light your subject, bouncing light off walls, using light modifiers and minimising shadows. This hands on, practical course will allow you to put these the principals you have learnt into practice, working with models to take fresh and funky portraits. Making use of softboxes on the speedlight combined with pocket wizard triggers you will quickly come to understand how this setup can allow you to be much more creative with your photography.
Night Photography Course:
Our night photography workshop will teach you how to capture stunning images in low light conditions using your DSLR camera. We start before dusk and discuss tips and techniques in getting stunning night time photographs, then as the night falls a whole new world of subjects will come to life. Upon completing this workshop, participants should be comfortable photographing in a wide variety of lighting situation, from relatively short exposures illuminated by ambient or industrial light and streetlight, to longer exposures of ten minutes or more.
Studio Basics Course:
Our studio basics photography course is perfect for anyone wanting to get into portrait photography either as a career or a hobby. Students attending the course will be required to have basic photography skills with an understanding of shutter speed, ISO settings, aperture etc. If you do not have these skills we would suggest you first attend our beginners DSLR course.
Studio Lighting Advanced Course:
Our studio lighting course is designed for students who already have an understanding of studio photography and may have already attended our studio basics course. This course will cover advanced lighting setups and techniques and uses of light modifiers.
Wedding Photography Basics Course:
Our wedding photography course is designed for anyone who would like to take professional wedding shots for family or friends or as a career. This course does require you have a good understanding of your camera and you may have already attended our DSLR beginners course.
Photoshop Courses and Workshops:
Unlike other Photoshop training courses all of our Photoshop courses are designed specifically for photographers. The courses will provide you with a better understanding of techniques that will enable you to manipulate and correct images taken with your digital camera.
