Ho`ala School, Honolulu:
Ho`ala is a small, independent, college-preparatory non-sectarian school for Grades K-12 that is nationally recognized as a model for character education. Established in 1986, Ho`ala was founded by Sr. Joan Madden who combined her own faith in humanity with studies in Adlerian psychology and the ideas of professional educators and spiritual thinkers to create Ho`ala School. Today, Ho`ala remains a community of people who embrace character development as the cornerstone of life-long learning. Founded in 1949, Hawaii Preparatory Academy (HPA) is one of the premier independent, co-educational college-preparatory boarding and day schools in the Pacific Region offering a full range of academic and extracurricular opportunities for 575 students in Grades K-12. Rathdown School for Girls

Founded in 1973, Rathdown School is a private day and boarding girls' school located on Upper Glenageary Road in Glenageary, just south of Dun Laoghaire in Dublin. We consist of a Junior School for girls ages 3-12 years and a Senior School for girls ages 12-18 years. A pupil’s name may be entered for the school at any time, although early application is advised.
Rathdown currently has around 600 girls enrolled - 400 in the Senior School and 200 in the Junior School. Class sizes rarely exceed 25, so it is possible to give individual attention and to develop the special abilities and interests of each student. We believe that each student is unique and should be valued for herself.
The school enjoys a superb location and setting, overlooking the sea and with inland views of the Wicklow mountains.
