Established in 1975, Bertrand Russell Italian School offers Italian language courses in Padua, Northern Italy to students from around the world. Padua (called Padova in Italian) is located 40 km west of Venice and it's international airport. Our school is the perfect venue for those who wish to study or improve their Italian.

The Bertrand Russell Italian school is situated in the heart of the historical centre of Padua, which is home to one of the oldest and most famous Universities (13th century), but it is also, at the same time, a city in which ancient and modern merge and live together in harmony. One can admire ancient masterpieces like the Roman Arena, the Scrovegni Chapel, with frescos by Giotto, Saint Anthony’s Basilica, Saint Justina’s Basilica, the Augustinian church of the Eremitani, and the Pedrocchi Café.

At the same time, Padua is also an important industrial city and service centre in the territory, the seat of several innovative companies and the home of many students, coming from all over the world and who contribute to its remaining a young and lively city and who meet to socialize and drink “spritz” in the beautiful squares of the old city, surrounded by characteristic arcades and separated by the imposing Palazzo della Ragione.
