Italian Language & Culture Courses in Florence

EUROPASS, Centro Studi Europeo:
Located in the heart of beautiful Florence, Italy, EUROPASS, Centro Studi Europeo is an Italian language and culture centre for foreign students, and an educational institution accredited by the Regione Toscana. We provide a wide range of art courses (painting, sculpture, fresco painting), music classes, and cooking courses that are taken simultaneously alongside our flagship Italian language courses.

Italian Art Courses (combined with 20 Italian classes per week)

Painting Course
20 Italian language lessons + 10 painting lessons per week
This course includes Italian lessons next to a painting course, which will introduce the students to a wide range of techniques and materials, including the use of tempera, oil and acrylics.

Drawing Course
20 Italian lessons + 10 drawing lessons per week
This course includes Italian lessons next to a drawing course, which will introduce the students to a wide range of techniques and materials, including the use of charcoal, sanguine and pencil. 

Sculpture Course 
20 Italian lessons + 10 sculpture lessons per week
This course includes Italian lessons next to a sculpture course, which allows the students to choose between a wide variety of techniques and media, including clay modelling, marble sculpture and wood cutting. 

Fashion Design Course 
20 Italian lessons + 10 design lessons per week
This course is intended to provide the students with a range of new skills and competences, both practical and theoretical, all essential in the world of fashion. 

Mosaic Course
20 Italian lessons + 10 mosaic lessons per week
This course aims to teach about the art of mosaic, with an eventual goal of providing the students with the necessary skills to carry out the entire process, in classical style, from start to finish. 

Fresco Course
20 Italian lessons + 10 fresco lessons per week
During this course, the students will be introduced to the materials used in the creation of a Fresco, using the medieval and renaissance technique applied traditionally.

Jewellery Making Workshop
20 Italian lessons + 6 jewellery lessons per week
This course offers the students the chance to learn to design, plan and realise pieces of jewellery, using a range of techniques, both traditional and modern.

Italian Cooking Classes (combined with 20 Italian lessons per week)

Introduction to Italian Cooking 
20 Italian lessons + 6 cooking lessons per week
With our courses in cookery, it is possible to learn the preparation techniques for typical dishes in the Tuscan cuisine, and more generally, in that of the whole of Italy.

Professional Cooking
20 Italian lessons + 8 cooking lessons per week
Our professional cookery course is designed for all those who are passionate for the subject and who wish to become professional chefs. 

Wine Tasting Course
20 Italian lessons + 9 wine lessons
One or two weeks to study and practice Tuscan and Italian wine tasting, with a final tasting at an Enoteca and a visit to a factory during the second week.

Musical Instrument Lessons (combined with Italian language classes)
Together with a partner school, EUROPASS offers music lessons in combination with Italian language lessons. The lessons are either one-to-one or one-to-two and are adapted to beginners as well as professionals.
