Founded in 2013 by pianist Olena Shvetsova and her cellist husband Richard May, Encore Music Projects International Summer School provides a summer music course for children and young adults. Designed for intermediate and advanced students, our 2-week music course is for piano, strings, composition, voice, and chamber ensembles.

Our residential summer music school is held at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset in South West England - one of the most famous schools in the United Kingdom. Dating back to the year AD 909, Wells Cathedral School is one of the oldest existing schools in the world and is now one of the five specialist musical schools in the UK.

One of the most beautiful locations in Great Britain, Wells is the smallest city in England with a magnificent 13th century Cathedral. It remains remarkably unspoiled and has many other historic buildings including Bishop’s Palace, Vicar’s Close (the oldest purely residential street with it’s original buildings all surviving intact, in Europe), and St. Cuthbert’s Church.
