Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts (BAVPA): The Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, also known as BAVPA, is a magnet performing arts high school in New York State & is part of Buffalo's public school system. The Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts was founded as a part of the desegregation program in 1977. The goal was simple: provide an exciting college preparatory program for students in the arts and academics that will attract students from all parts of the city of Buffalo, NY.
Our Students:
Since its beginnings at 333 Clinton Street, the school has grown in numbers, as well as in depth. The Academy claims many successful alumnae, including Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order, RENT), Ani DiFranco (recording artist, founder of Righteous Babe Record label and Babeville), Claudine Ewing, Pete Gallivan, Stefan Mychajliw (WGRZ-TV) and many more. Its students continue to exceed the NYS targets for academic performance in similar schools grades 5 - 12.
Students produce award winning visual art work, participate in All County and all WNY musical groups, perform with the Buffalo Philharmonic, dance in the NYS School for the Arts competitive summer program, and work in countless local theatrical programs.

Located in White Plains in Westchester County, NY, Elmwood Day School (formerly Elmwood Nursery School) has been providing excellent early childhood education to Lower Westchester since 1957. Founded in 2004, Preschool of America opened its first school in New York City’s historic Chelsea neighborhood. Since then we have opened a total of seven centers throughout Manhattan including our center on 345 42nd street in West Midtown, and we continue to grow. Tuxedo Park School is a private, independent, coeducational day school for students in preschool through to freshman year, and is one of the most unique educational opportunities for PreK -9th grade children in the United States. We are located in Tuxedo Park, a village within the southern part of the Town of Tuxedo, in the southwestern corner of Orange County, NY, 15 minutes north of Bergen County, NJ (and just west of Rockland County).

PlayWorks NYC is a pediatric therapy center in Rego Park, Queens that provides physical, occupational and speech and language therapy to children with special needs from infancy through to teenage years. We offer services in a professional, nurturing environment with highly qualified staff. We contract directly with the Department of Education, Early Intervention Agencies and accept private payment. PlayWorks main aim is to provide therapeutic services to children with special needs. We are approved by both the NYS Department of Health & the New York City Board of Education.
PlayWorks was born out of a simple love of working with children with special needs and their families. We wanted to have a safe, comfortable, professional place for parents and children to come to for quality therapy. PlayWorks prides itself on offering speech, physical, and occupational therapy with the utmost professionalism in a warm, nurturing environment.
Our mission is to serve children with special needs by enhancing capabilities and fostering independence through high quality therapeutic programs, serve as a resource and respond to the needs of parents, professionals and members of the community.
Pediatric Therapy Program - Specialty Therapies include:
* Occupational Therapy: Our Occupational Therapists help children with play, work, fine-motor and self-care activities to improve independent function.
* Physical Therapy: Our Physical Therapists facilitate a child's age-appropriate gross motor skills.
* Speech Therapy: Our Speech / Language Pathologists help children with articulation, oral motor skills, feeding issues, language comprehension, and phonemic awareness.
