The Bianca Lopez Studio of Jewelry Art and Design is a school and resource center for jewelry artists and designers of all levels. We are located in a quiet, light-filled studio located downtown in NoHo, New York City, where anyone from beginners to advanced students can learn the craft of jewelry-making and develop their own business as jewelry designers.

Our Curriculum:
Our curriculum, which can be molded to meet the needs of individual students, draws from the history of jewelry and the other forms of decorative art from the ancient classical period to the present. We offer regular classes in Metals and Wax, special workshops on a broad range of design topics, and individual consultations for jewelry designers with new or growing businesses. We believe in using the most environmentally friendly materials and methods.
Workshops and Other Courses:
In addition to our regular workshops in metals and wax, we branch out to other aspects of design, such as sketching, rendering and mechanical drafting in mini workshops throughout the year and during our summer programs. Throughout the year we also bring in professionals from other areas of the industry to teach special workshops and masterclasses.
Lectures and workshops have limited enrollment for individualized attention and the full benefit of the student. The other purpose of the Bianca Lopez Studio is to work with aspiring and experienced designers on developing their new or existing business. We provide private consultations and teach sourcing for both domestic and overseas suppliers and contractors. We advise on designing catalogs, look books, web sites and cards. We welcome individuals from all over the world.

The New York Film Academy is a dynamic institution offering intensive, hands-on training in filmmaking, acting for film, digital journalism in affiliation with NBC News, documentary filmmaking, producing, screenwriting, and 3-D animation. The Academy was founded in 1992 at Robert DeNiros Tribeca Film Center on a belief that a top quality education in filmmaking should be accessible to anyone with the drive and ambition to make films.
