Marine Resource Management
Join us to scuba dive and study the Caribbean’s marine reserves, designed to safeguard endangered marine resources while simultaneously allowing for their sustainable use and support of local economies. After two weeks on the island of Saba, live-aboard a 50-foot yacht for a week and travel to Statia and St. Barts.

Sea Turtle Ecology and Conservation

Primate Behavior and Conservation – Costa Rica & Panama
Travel to the wilds of Costa Rica and Panama to learn about New World monkeys and how to help protect them from extinction. Study primate ecology in lush Costa Rican rainforests and participate in ongoing monkey research on a tropical island on Panama’s coast. African Wildlife Conservation – South Africa
This one-of-a-kind expedition takes you to the majestic wilderness of South Africa to study and assist with efforts to conserve, protect and increase threatened African wildlife populations. Sailing and Leadership
Learn basic seamanship, Navigation and passage planning as you sail five hundred nautical miles among the incredibly diverse leeward and windward islands of the Caribbean. Earn your IYT International Crew, Radio Operator and Barebat Skipper Certifications as you hone your leadership skills on this once in a lifetime sailing journey.

PADI Divemaster and Leadership
Hone your scuba skills as you earn the PADI professional rating of Divemaster. Explore the beauty of the French and Dutch Caribbean above the water and below. Expand youe knowledge of dive theory and experience the magic of St Barth's reefs, Saba's underwater walls and pinnacles and Statia's world famous shipwrecks.

Wilderness First Responder and Leadership
Lay the foundation for a career in the outdoors by earning your Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certificate and mastering outdoor leadership skills. Travel to Honduras, where in addition to wilderness medicine, you'll learn outdoor leadership skills while rafting, kayaking and hiking in Central America's natural playground.

College Credit

All academic courses are accredited through Lesley University. You can earn 3-4 credits per course. Lesley is a diverse, coeducational university based in Cambridge, MA, with learning sites in 23 states and in Israel. All Lesley University students integrate significant "hands-on" internships throughout all four years of study as a fundamental component of their undergraduate experience.

Students receive their grades, credits and transcripts from Lesley University and can easily transfer credit to their home institution. As our University of Record, Lesley does a full academic review of our courses, syllabi and professors. Our interdisciplinary approach to education combines the best of traditional academic, experiential and service learning, while taking students out of the classroom and into the real world environment. To maximize the experience, we intertwine our studies with practical applications in the natural environments and cultural framework of the places we travel.

PAST Foundation
Courses / Programs
PAST is a non-profit educational and research team that puts together partnerships on compelling projects in Anthropology and makes the work available to students and the public through field schools, documentary film and interactive web access. Based in Columbus, Ohio, PAST started as a non-profit organization in 2000 founded by an international Board of Trustees who have devoted volumes of time to seeing that the mission of PAST is achievable.

Working with the Board of Trustees are professionals from around the world. Added to our trustees and volunteer staff are a handful of research associates – the everyday archaeologists and research scientists who join with PAST to take their work to the public. Founded to promote partnerships between anthropologists and educators, PAST successfully initiated and implemented projects throughout the United States.

The Creativity Workshop

Using the Tools of Creative Writing, Memoir, Art, Photography, Storytelling and Mindfulness.

We teach from the point of view that people are by nature creative and that creativity, like DNA, is unique to each individual. We believe that in the right atmosphere and with the right tools anyone can tap into the creative stream that runs through us all.

To help you access and develop your creativity, we have developed a progression of exercises and techniques that explore sense perceptions, free-form writing and drawing, associative thinking, mapmaking, constructive daydreaming, memory, collage, and photography.

The only requirements for attending our workshops are curiosity and a desire to explore the creative spirit inherent to us all.

Delphian School is a premiere, independent, co-educational day and boarding school located in Oregon in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. We offer fun and challenging summer school programs (for ages 5-18) on our 800-acre campus in the scenic Willamette Valley, 1 hour southwest of Portland, and approximately 4 hours drive from Seattle, Washington.
