KLC School of Design in Central London, is an accredited interior and garden design training school offering full-time, part-time, blended & open learning certificate and diploma courses. Our industry links are second to none and we provide an outstanding careers service combining carefully structured career workshops, individual careers advice and mentoring and work experience opportunities. Employers return to us on a regular basis knowing that our students will have had a realistic and practical training for the design workplace and that great care will have been taken to match the student to the requirements of the practice.

KLC School of Design is located in Chelsea Harbour which is at the end of Lots Road, which leads off the Kings Road, Central London. There is a visitor’s car park directly below the Chambers and the Design Centre with space for 1350 cars.

By Train:
Imperial Wharf train station is directly outside the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre. This new London overground rail station provides a direct link from Imperial Wharf to Britain's busiest rail interchange, Clapham Junction, to the South and Willesden Junction in the North. From Clapham Junction, a high frequency of services run from London Victoria and Waterloo through to Brighton, Gatwick and many destinations in the South West of England. Change at West Brompton for the District Line or Shepherds Bush for the Central Line, providing easy access to the entire London underground network.

By Bus:
The C3 bus runs between Earl’s court underground and Clapham Junction main line stations and goes via Chelsea Harbour every 20/25 minutes from Monday – Saturday. The number 11 and 22 buses serving Sloane Square and the West End run along the Kings Road every 7 to 8 minutes on weekdays.

act up is an independent organisation specialising in communication and acting training. We are located in Lavender Hill, near Clapham Junction in South London. Clapham Common Tube Station is the closest tube station to Lavender Hill. Almost all of the acting and communication training courses take place at The Royal Academy of Dance, located at Battersea Square, which is a 5 minute walk from Clapham Junction in South London. All of the acting courses are short, part-time and professionally based.

All of our courses run regularly throughout the year, and they are open to anyone over the age of 18 years. Among those attending are participants who travel from as close as the next street, right across London, or as far afield as Birmingham, Sheffield and Exeter.

Our main philosophy with all our training is to show every participant a good time. Each time we run a course, it is always very different as the core of the work is created around the participants, so no one course is ever the same. The actors and act up do however have a structured outline for each course; the environment is designed and then it's up to the participants to be brave and throw themselves in.
