Acadia Center for English Immersion is an English language centre based in Camden in Knox County on the beautiful coast of Maine (a state in the New England Region of the north-eastern United States, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and south, New Hampshire to the west, and the Canadian provinces of Quebec to the north-west and New Brunswick to the north-east). Acadia Center for English Immersion is dedicated to providing the highest quality intensive English courses for adults featuring everything you need to improve your English quickly and enjoy a memorable learning vacation.

Camden, Maine, is a small town in the northeast corner of the USA nestled between mountains and ocean. Forest trails and waterfront cafés, quiet coves and islands, lobster fishing boats and historic sailing vessels, classic New England wooden houses and a friendly, safe, and inviting atmosphere make our community the perfect place to study and relax. We are a a few hours by car from Boston and from Québec.


Location and Facilities:

 

Islands and ocean, forests and mountains, and the natural beauty of all four seasons make our area a popular vacation place. Our village is famous for its lively harbor, walking trails, shops, seaside restaurants, and cafés.

Living in a small New England village allows you to take a break from the hurried pace of modern life and participate fully in the daily life of an American community to an extent that would be impossible in a large city. With its friendly people, tree-lined streets, and classic wooden houses, fishing boats, and sailing vessels, Camden provides a wonderful setting to study, relax, and make new friends.

Conveniently located just three blocks from Wall Street in Lower Manhattan, New York English Academy (NYEA) is an English language school that offers a range of beginner to advanced level courses designed to help individuals learn English as a Second Language (ESL).

Authorized by the NY State Education Department, we provide full-time and part-time English courses that include Standard English, Business English, and TOEFL exam preparation. Students can avail of Morning & Afternoon study options. 

Course schedules are extremely flexible, and are suited to each individual student. Our full-time English courses range between 1 and 48-week study periods.

Founded in 1998, our mission is to provide a variety of quality English language training programs to help US and international students make effective progress toward their academic and personal language success. 

Our specialized English curriculum places the emphasis on each key skill: reading, listening, and writing and  fluent speaking.

Our courses let you dedicate more time to learning English individually with your teachers, taking the time to seriously practice your spoken English communication.

On arrival, you will take a placement test to determine your level. You will be placed in the class that best suits you.
