Skinner Creek ESL Summer Camp, Tatlayoko Lake:
Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch in British Columbia, north of Vancouver, offers 2 unique programs designed for international students, one for ages 7-12 and the other for students ages 13-18. Each student experiences outdoor adventures combined with an intensive English program. Skinner Creek ESL Summer Camp has a cozy atmosphere with a maximum capacity of 16, providing wonderful opportunities for interaction and attention to each student.
ESL Summer Camp Programs:
This is an intensive English/Outdoor adventure program that is sure to challenge. Students study English 15-20 hours per week and are challenged in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary building and conversational English.
We offer 2 unique programs designed for international students, one for ages 7-12 and the other for students ages 13-18. Students learn about international cooperation, nature, Canadian culture and experience the true British Columbia outdoors. Students are supervised 24 hours a day and are encouraged to speak English at all times
- Camp 1: June 30th to July 26th, 2014
- Camp 2: July 26th to August 21st, 2014
Students’ safety is a priority for the staff of Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch. Students are monitored at all times and supervisors are in the cabins with the students at night. Staff members have St. John’s First Aid and Transportation and Wilderness First Aid. A medical clinic is nearby and accessible 24 hours.
Students must have medical insurance.
English Classes:
- Class hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
- Students are challenged in conversation and all academic English skills.
- Vocabulary specific to related outdoor activities in some classes.
- Fun after-class outdoor and evening activities
- Great after class activities on-site
- Time to watch videos and T.V. and play games.
- Experience Canadian family life
Weekends:
- Special all-day and overnight weekend activities include: camping, days at the lake (fishing, swimming, boating), rodeos, cowboy church and more.

Courses / Programs
Located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, ESLplus offers a summer ESL camp for kids. Our Summer English Fun Camp is one of our most attended programs, with kids coming to Canada from all over the world! Upon arrival to Canada, students will take a pre-camp English assessment test and will be assigned to their corresponding language levels. The curriculum follows a weekly theme, with all language lessons working around the assigned theme. New students can join the class beginning any Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday) and finishing on any Friday. Not just English learning we also have sports, team games, group dynamics, karaoke singing, movie times, show n' tell and more! Field trips to Niagara Falls, CN Tower, Canada's Wonderland, and more! Parents or older siblings can join our Summer Adult ESL Classes.

Since 1998, International House Vancouver has offered unique, educational, and fun English language (ESL) summer programs for young learners to suit every need, budget and language ability. In Vancouver, we offer a Children's Adventure Program (CAP) for children ages 5-12, suitable for mother & child or family study.
We also provide a Homestay Junior Program for 13-17 year olds, as well as a Residential Junior Program on the campus of the University of British Columbia for 9-17 year olds.

Main Street Community Services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a not for profit community agency. Using a pro-active and cognitive-behavioral approach to learning, our Social Skills Day Camp in Ottawa enables children, ages 5-14, to develop satisfying interpersonal relationships by enhancing skill proficiency in a variety of areas that foster social competency. All staff are university/college educated and trained (including dedicated Developmental Service workers, Social workers and Teachers) with several years of direct experience in this field. The Director, a clinical counsellor and a behavioural specialist are on hand always and have a Master’s level of education.

Game Creation and Technology Summer Camp provides summer week-long programs for campers ages 7-16 during the months of July to August. Programs are offered in the areas of 2D and 3D Game Creation, Graphic & Web Design, 2D & 3D Animation and Video Editing. Located in Squamish, BC (one hour from Vancouver), Quest University Canada is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian university of the liberal arts and sciences. Our Summer Scholars program is a pre-university summer program for exceptional high school students (Grades 10 - 12). The program runs over three weeks and consists of one-week courses on a variety of topics. Students can choose to attend for one, two, or three weeks. The program is available as a residential program or a day camp for local commuters.Our Summer Scholars program is designed to inspire the next generation of thinkers and leaders. You will experience a week of engaging in an academic course in the mornings, and participating in related social and recreational activities in the afternoons and evenings.
