Barcelona is located in the Catalunya region on the east coast of Spain. Barcelona is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city that has something for everyone. It has great weather, four beautiful sandy beaches, world-renowned museums, interesting architecture, including Gaudi's distinctive buildings and an endless variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. It is close by car or rail from a number of other cities, including Madrid, which is only six hours away by car and Valencia, which is only four hours away.
INTESOL Spain is located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, with a metro stop conveniently located nearby, as well as a bus service in the area. The area, like most of Barcelona, is both commercial and residential. There are a number of apartment buildings, shops, bars and restaurants that are conveniently located close to the school.

International House Palma is located in the centre of Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca (Majorca). The school offers the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) program, probably the most widely recognised qualification within the English language teaching (ELT) profession. The CELTA course is suitable for both those new to the profession and it can also act as a refresher course for those with some TEFL experience but with no formal training.The school occupies all four floors of a traditional Mallorquin building in the heart of the city's Gothic Quarter, opposite the city hall and two minutes from the 9th Century Arab baths and 13th century cathedral. Canterbury Consulting Spain will be offering a special summer TEFL course which is four weeks in duration and will begin on 30th May 2011. The course will be taught in Weeks 1 and 2 in our installations in Madrid and in Weeks 3 and 4 in our installations in the beautiful foothills of the “Picos de Europa” mountains in the province of León.Our summer TEFL course will cover all the aspects of our regular international certification course, but will also include special instruction for teaching children and adolescents in summer and day camps and for teaching business professionals in a weekend retreat setting.
Our graduates will be working during the summer in camps ranging from onsite summer camps throughout Spain and day camps in Madrid, to teaching regular classes to business professionals and individuals in Madrid.
