TEFL / CELTA Training in Palma de Mallorca

StudyCELTA:
Established in 1982, the StudyCELTA teacher training centre in Palma de Mallorca is conveniently situated just off the prestigious Passeig Mallorca avenue and a couple of minutes' walk from the old city. We provide a full-time, 4-week CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) course to students from around the world.

In addition, we offer a 7-week TEFL+Spanish course which consists of a 2-week Spanish course prior to your CELTA course (4 weeks), followed by a 1-week chill out.

Location and Facilities:

Palma de Mallorca is the capital city of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands in Spain. Set in the beautiful bay of Palma, famous for its stunning sunsets, Palma has a population of just over 300,000, among the most diverse to be found in Spain. There is a lively arts scene and a nightlife to suit any taste. In addition, there is a large sailing community, and the sailing year culminates every summer when the city hosts the Copa del Rey yachting competition.

The old city is incredibly beautiful, with the main tourist attractions being the huge cathedral and the 10th-century Arab baths. It contains a vast array of elegant buildings, ornate squares, and pedestrianised streets that are a pleasure to wander through, where orange and olive trees give shade to the many charming street cafés.

Our CELTA teacher training centre occupies three floors of a modern, spacious building in the centre of Palma with 4 air-conditioned classrooms, office and recreational areas.

The whole third floor of the school is also an internet wireless hotspot, meaning that students may connect to the internet using their own laptop (notebook) computers or iPhones if they wish.
