Perfect Balance 3 – Get ready to become completely immersed in this addicting physics-based game, a pressure environment that is all about balance. Perfect Balance challenges your critical thinking skills and requires creativity as well as fast decision making because every second wasted means extra points lost. At times it may look impossible. It is great for non-standard thinking development with no ”out-of-the-box” solution.
Although it initially looks like a simple figure puzzle game created for 5-6 year old kids – it isn’t that simple. This is a game for all ages, and requires a basic understanding of science – gravity, mass, geometry and how balance-beams work. Perfect balance is considered when no object is wobbling or sliding. When an object is unstable – you can see some stardust glowing on the unstable object. Although unstable objects may stand still – they may have fractional motion and this is considered as “almost perfect balance”.
How to Play: Don’t just drop objects, as a falling object may push some other object out of place. Objects that are placed cannot be moved or removed. Try to locate a supporting object for your first piece. If an object falls down or floats up – the level is failed. Although you can advance to the next level even if you fail – it makes it harder for you to play a higher level without proper experience.
The objects to place are located at the top of the screen can be picked with your computer mouse left button. Simply click on a shape to pick it up. You can put it back if you see that another figure is more suitable. To put the object back – simply left click your mouse again. Choose the position of your figure, rotate it clockwise or counter clockwise by pressing the A or D button on your computer keyboard. Once the figure is in place – left click your mouse again and the figure will be released. Blue figures go in the direction that the arrow on them is pointing, and do not stop unless they encounter something on their way. Black figures are 5 times heavier than the others while grey figures are so light that they not only can fly – they can also lift several figures with them.
An extra row of gems is shown at the top once you have created a perfect balance situation. To earn extra points as a bonus before you move to the next level, try placing as many of these glowing gems (green triangles, blue cubes and purple spheres) on top of the perfectly balanced figures while maintaining balance. Each extra gem placed will be counted towards your total score. You also need a certain amount of purple sphere gems to be collected in order to advance to the new set of puzzles. Happy balancing!
