Puzzle Freak 2 is a collection of fun educational puzzles and riddles of various difficulties that challenge your mind and thinking skills. It is a great game when you have your friends over or family gathering. You can play against the computer or your friends or a mix of both. The game does not only test your IQ, but involves you into puzzle solving for hours. You must go around the board game, and beat your opponents while completing the most puzzles in the shortest time. The faster you complete a puzzle, the more IQ points you earn and you get another turn to roll your dice. If you cannot solve a given task, you must pass the dice onto the next player. In a way, it is very similar to Monopoly.
There are 4 types of puzzle squares you can land on, and they differ in level of difficulty (easy, normal, hard and very hard). You earn more IQ points for the more difficult puzzles. There are “Chance” squares on the board, marked with a question mark, which may help or hinder you on your way to the finish line. You may select a different board before you begin the game by clicking on the arrows, located on the left and right sides. The boards differ in their field arrangement and in their game time (very short game, short game, long game and very long game). After you choose a board, click ‘Play’ to start the game. Using your computer mouse, click on the dice to throw. After each rollout, you will get a new puzzle to solve.
All of the puzzles are time-based. Read the task description at the bottom of the screen and then click on the game screen to begin solving the puzzle. There is an example shown before the puzzle is started. Watch it closely to understand what is required in order to solve the problem. Make sure you understand the assignment well, and only then click anywhere on the game screen to start solving it.
