Diploma of Fitness and Diploma of Remedial Massage
This 2 year full-time course also is a dual qualification course. With both fitness and remedial massage training, you will have a broad range of complementary skills to use in advanced personal or group fitness training in a wide variety of environments. The Diploma of Fitness teaches leadership and self-direction skills to enable graduates to effectively plan and initiate programmes. This course is great for those who wish to be advanced personal or group fitness trainers and be able to work in a wide variety of environments. This qualification may lead to employment in the following areas: Fitness Specialist, Gym Operations Manager, Fitness/Gym Programme Manager, Massage Therapist.

The Diploma of Remedial Massage component of this course involves the use of massage therapy and a wide range of diagnostic techniques to treat a variety of ailments pertaining to the musculoskeletal system. Students will be taught to deal with a wide range of musculoskeletal problems utilising basic and advanced massage techniques such as trigger points, sports injury treatments, myofascial release and lymphatic drainage. A strong emphasis is placed on anatomy, basic pathology, as well as symptomatology and diagnosis.
