Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts: The Revere Academy in San Francisco is a professional jewelry school where master craftsmen pass on their skills and knowledge to students of all levels. Beginners and hobbyists as well as experienced working bench jewelers come for dozens of short intensive classes (1-5 days) and diploma programs (2-4 months). The Revere Academy occupies a suite with an incredible view on the 9th floor of the Phelan Building, San Francisco's historic jewelry building. Within walking distance there is an abundance of hotels, restaurants, museums, shops and transportation, in what many call "America's favorite city."

Diploma Programs The Revere Academy has been approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education of the State of California to grant Diplomas and Certificates. The Council's approval guarantees that the institution and its operation comply with the standards established under the law for occupational instruction by private postsecondary education institutions. The Academy offers the following Diploma Programs:
Jewelry Technician The Academy’s Jewelry Technician (JT) Program has been designed to give you all of the essential skills to make jewelry. Whether you plan to seek employment, create your own jewelry, or just want profe ssional-level training, this program is the right place to start. Graduates receive a Jewelry Technician Diploma and may prepare for certification as a Jewelers of America (JA) Bench Jeweler Technician (optional).
Jewelry Technician Intensive The two-month Jewelry Technician Intensive (JTI) Program, led by Alan Revere, is the most effective way to build the skills and confidence to succeed as a bench jeweler. The Intensive’s full time format is the perfect way to prepare for a career in jewelry. Instruction covers all of the material taught in the 11 required JT classes, plus the basics of hand engraving and lots more. Students meet designers, bench jewelers and manufacturers.
Graduate Jeweler The Graduate Jeweler program is for those who want a complete experience in jewelry. It is ideal for designers, entrepreneurs and those serious about a career with the potential to grow in many areas. The program includes everything in the Jewelry Technician course plus 11 more classes (for a total of 22 classes), which provide a well-rounded foundation in jewelry.
