Network/Internet Professional Associate Degree Program:

The Network/Internet Professional program will provide the student with a working knowledge of software packages in five major groups: word processing, spreadsheets, database, operating systems and networking from an administrator's viewpoint. Students will also gain an understanding of the procedures used to install software packages in the same five groups and configure the software and the hardware, as well as to the end user's specifications.

The student will have a total understanding of the personal computer and network hardware from a repair and installation perspective. Also the student will learn the latest technologies including Wireless, and Network Security concepts. The student will also acquire the information and training necessary to prepare for certification testing for A+ Certification, Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) Certification as well as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification.

Drafting Technology Associate Degree Program:
21 months (day program); 27 months (evening program)
The Drafting Technology degree training program at BTI focuses on Mechanical Drawing and Architectural Drafting. The course program will provide students with the intensive courses and hands-on classes necessary to perform drafting assignments that require the use of drafting standards, symbols and nomenclature. Students will get hands-on experience in the Computer Aided Drafting lab, which has hardware and AutoCAD software similar to what is used on the job.

Graphic Design Associate Degree Program:
21 months (day program); 27 months (evening program)
Graphic Designers are unique individuals who choose to express their creativity and skill in a commercially visual way to bridge the communication gap between a company and the end user of its products or services. As a key component in business communication, graphic design encompasses the entire process that begins with knowing the company/client’s needs, what the client’s target audience wants, and then developing, designing and producing vehicles for that message. 

Here at BTI, we provide our students with a degree training program that has up-to-date equipment and current industry standard software and also teaches the student problem-solving based on real world projects. Although this career program is focused on print-based design, we offer well-rounded design education courses that include classes on commercial photography, video editing, web design and 2-D animation.
