Raffles University Iskandar, Johor:
Approved by the Malaysian government, Raffles University Iskandar (RUI) is a multi-faculty, comprehensive, self-accrediting university in Malaysia. Currently operating from our temporary premises in Johor Bahru, RUI will develop a new state-of-the-art campus in Iskandar Malaysia’s EduCity Zone by 2013. RUI provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs that are taught in English including: design & arts, business, education, and social science specialisations. Design students from Malaysia and around the world can study our Master of Design degree program as well as a range of bachelor's degrees, including fashion design, interior design and graphic design.

RUI's parent company is Raffles Education Corporation (REC), which is a premier creative design and business education provider in Asia Pacific. It has a network of 3 universities and 33 colleges in 30 cities across 13 countries in the Asia-Pacific region: Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand. The network pools resources of all colleges to give students a truly international study experience.

Intakes are in January, April, June and August. All RUI courses are taught in English to prepares students for working in an international business environment. All of our programs have a compulsory internship (work experience placement) helping students prepare for the world of work.

- Inter-College Transfer of Credits:
Looking for greater overseas exposure? Raffles allows students to seamlessly transfer credits among affiliate colleges in Asia Pacific. International qualifications can be gained by studying overseas in up to three different countries. Students can pursue their advanced diploma in Thailand, earn their bachelor's degree in Singapore, and finish their master's in Iskandar, Malaysia.

- Career Preparation:
Maximum preparation is provided for every student's field of specialty. An intensive and comprehensive curriculum prepares students for development of portfolios and professional skills. Having studied in an international environment also serves as an added bonus in their résumés. With this, students will be prepared for the realities of working and synchronizing with others within a Multi-National Corporation.

- International Lecturers:

At the moment, RUI’s temporary campus is in Menara Kotaraya.
