Adventure Maze Game Online - The Pharaoh's Tomb
The Pharaoh's Tomb is a very challenging, Egyptian-themed, maze-based adventure and escape game for older kids and teens where you must guide a famous archaeologist (Dr. Iowa Jones) through an obstacle-filled underground labyrinth. You must explore the dozens of tomb chambers in the vast maze, collecting as much gold and other important artifacts as you dare to along the way. Many of the chambers are filled with booby traps, dangerous creatures, tricky obstacles, and more!
Skills / strategy required: This fun and stimulating arcade game features a heightened view of the action, so you can carefully plan out Dr. Jones' movements through each chamber. Nimble, dexterous keyboard control skills are very important as you try to keep Dr. Jones out of harm's way. An inquisitive nature also serves you well; you must be willing to explore all of the rooms in search of keys, valuable trinkets, and healing potions that help cure your wounds. Refer to your map to get an idea of where to explore next.
How to Play: A Flash-based, maze escape game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). There are three difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Your overall task is to escape the pyramid / tomb complex. Control Dr. Jones' movement with the Arrow Keys or the SXJN Keys on your computer keyboard. Press Spacebar to activate an object such as a door. Press the Tab Key to view your map.
Most of the tombs / chambers feature dangerous obstacles, enemies and booby traps including lava floors, scarab beetles, arrow-firing statues, etc. Each time Dr. Jones is hit, he loses health from the green Health Vial in the bottom right corner of the play area. If this falls empty, it's game over, and you must re-start from the beginning.
Tip: The first important object you need to find is the Silver Ankh – which is a key to the door of the SECOND chamber you enter. Good luck!
