Fun Online Sledding Game - Avalanche: A Penguin Adventure
Are you ready for a winter sports adventure with some added sp-ice? Avalanche: A Penguin Adventure is a fun and challenging sledding game where you play the role of a plucky little penguin on a wacky downhill ride to safety (we hope) from a Big Avalanche. Your goal is to stay ahead of the pursuing avalanche of snow, while at the same time collecting power-ups and boosters along the way with awesome mid-air jumps and powerful penguin pirouettes!
This wonderfully cute survival game requires quick reactions and sharp observation skills as you have to jump over steep ravines and iceberg obstacles at high speed. Timing your jumps is all important – one tiny mistake, and that avalanche creeps ever closer to your tail! However, don’t let the pressure get to you – try and keep an ice cool head at all times!

How to Play: There are two game modes to choose from: Adventure Mode, and Survival Mode. In Adventure Mode, you have to complete and unlock 15 increasingly challenging levels. In Survival Mode, there is no finishing point, you simply have to survive for as long as possible on an endless course. In Adventure Mode, your goal in each level is to reach your penguin family at the end of the course, while staying clear of the fast-moving avalanche of snow. The avalanche continuously chases your tail from the left side of the game screen. Use the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard to control your sled. Right Arrow = Accelerate; Left Arrow = Brake; Up Arrow = Jump.
Along the way, you can collect Goldfish power-ups to increase your score in the top left corner of the game screen. In later levels, you can collect Rockets which give your sled a timely boost of speed. If you crash off any icebergs jutting out of the terrain, your sled slows down – giving the avalanche time to catch up. If you get fully enveloped by the mountain of snow, you lose a life, and have to begin the level again. Likewise, if you fall down one of the ravines, you have to restart the level. Note: In the Options tab on the main menu screen, you can change the control Keys, but we recommend sticking with the default Arrow Key controls.
