Bot Racing is a fun, addicting and futuristic racing arcade game where you take control of your very own a high-tech, robotic speed machine! Choose from 4 amazing different hover-bots, and compete on 9 different tracks that are, literally, out of this world. Set in weird and wonderful industrial landscapes, these circuits are unlike anything on planet Earth! Once you’ve tried Bot Racing, you might not be able to go back to boring old cars again!
Be careful out there - each robot has awesome missile capabilities - you can be blasted out of the race if you don’t watch your back. You need to exhibit slick driving skills to succeed, with extremely tight corners on each track, and outrageous overtaking maneuvers to be attempted. You’re going to need bucket loads of determination to overcome your tough, computer-controlled opponents. Quick reactions are all-important, too! Can you defy gravity, and rise to the top of the Robot Racing Rankings? Better strap yourself in – futuristic racing can be a really bumpy ride! Don't get pushed aside! How to Play: There are 9 tracks (circuits) overall, and your ultimate goal is to unlock each one. Once you’ve selected your Robot from a choice of 4, there’s a simple way to unlock the tracks – win races! You can try out Training Mode if you want to get to grips with the controls before starting a competitive race. There are 2 different ways to control your robot; you can use your computer mouse, or your keyboard (either can be used during the race). On your keyboard, use the Arrow Keys or the WASD Keys to maneuver your guy around the track. If you are using your mouse or touchpad, Left Click to boost your robot upwards, and use your mouse cursor to direct it (the trick is to Left Click every few seconds to keep the momentum going).
There are 3 computer-controlled robots competing alongside you in each 3-lap race. As well as overtaking them, try to avoid any of the missiles that they randomly shoot. You also have missiles in your arsenal – hit Spacebar to fire them. You can see how many missiles you have remaining in the bottom right corner of the game screen. If you get hit, your Health Bar (which appears above your robot character) decreases. Once this decreases all the way down, you’re out of the race. At the end of each level, use the points you have earned to purchase upgrades, including better engines, more powerful missiles, and speed boosters.
