Nostalgic PC games fans - Strap yourself in for some retro, 80s space invaders shooting action! Mars Cowboys is an addicting, old school, space invaders-style arcade game where you embark on a solo mission to destroy alien spaceships on the planet Mars. Featuring classic, top-to-bottom scrolling and arrow key shooting game play, you must pilot a nimble spacecraft through an onslaught of enemy forces. However, you have absolutely no room for error – one hit from an enemy missile or aircraft, and your mission is toast!

Reasons to play this space shooter game: Travel back in time to the 1980s and 90s when PC games had more straight-forward game play yet still offered a challenging test of your hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, concentration skills, and good old determination.

Strategy to win: Remember, one mistake and it's back to the start! This means that you must be fully concentrated at all times. You don't have to eliminate every single enemy spaceship that enters the game screen – Pick your battles wisely, and try not to get overwhelmed by the invading numbers. Staying still is also a big mistake – So, try to be constantly on the move, dodging and weaving around the play area.

How to Play: A Flash-based, space invaders-style, arcade action game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). This is a ‘one-level’ challenge where you try to survive for as long as possible, and defeat as many enemies as you can to score points. Control your spaceship's movement using the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard, and fire your missiles using the Z Key.

Enemy spacecraft approach from the top of the play area. If your spaceship gets hit with an enemy missile / bomb or crashes into an enemy aircraft, you lose a life and re-spawn immediately at the beginning of the journey. Keep an eye on your ammo in the top right hand corner, and your points tally in the top left corner of the game screen. Try to increase your score with each flight! How well do you do compared to your best friends and family members?
