Black Knight Insurrection is a challenging and stimulating, chess-based puzzle game for kids, teens and adults where you must leap around a chessboard-style grid in search of a Gold Star – always using the same (famously versatile) chess piece – the Knight! Although the game is undoubtedly built around chess principles, you really only need to know the basic moves of key chess pieces to enjoy the logic and strategy-based problem-solving here! Your task in each of the increasingly-difficult 40 levels is to collect the Gold Star, but you often have to activate switches, leap over objects, capture other chess pieces, and generally plan out your moves in advance like a true chess Grandmaster!

Black Knight Insurrection is a Flash-based, chess-themed puzzle game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). Key Control Feature: The Knight always moves in a specific ‘L-shape’. In one motion, it moves two squares horizontally and one square vertically, or two squares vertically and one square horizontally. Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click on the square you want your Knight to move to.
