Test and exercise your block construction and reaction skills with this fun and fresh Tetris-like concept! Blocketris is a straight-forward, 80s retro-style falling block arcade puzzle game where you must keep your tower as small as possible by maneuvering descending blocks so that they create solid, horizontal Lego-like rows that stretch across the game grid. Keep creating and eliminating rows to survive - but be prepared for the falling blocks to increase in speed as you progress!

How to Play: A Flash-based, falling block construction puzzler for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). This is a ‘1-level’ challenge where your goal is to survive for as long as possible by making sure the blocks do not reach the top of the game grid. Eliminate rows of blocks by arranging them into solid, horizontal rows that stretch all the way from the left to right of the play area with no gaps. Each time you create a completed row, it is eliminated from the grid, and you score points toward your total in the top right corner of the game screen.
The blocks descend automatically from the top of the grid. Move the blocks around the play area using the Left and Right Arrow Keys. Press the Up Arrow to rotate the block 90 degrees. You can increase their falling speed by pressing the Down Arrow. Alternatively, you can click on the icons below the game grid to maneuver the blocks, but this is quite cumbersome and much more difficult. You can see which block is coming next in the top right corner of the game screen. It's game over when your tower hits the top of the play area. Keep re-playing and trying to beat your top score each time!
