Spot the Difference Story Game - The Princess On The Pea
The Princess On The Pea is a fun online spot-a-difference / hidden object puzzle game for younger kids that takes the form of a step-by-step fairytale book. In each ‘Chapter’, you must find and eliminate a set number of differences between two seemingly-identical images placed side by side. You are also tasked with finding special golden peas that are carefully hidden in each scene. Additionally, you can follow the cute storyline of a medieval princess and her beloved prince by reading along in between each level.
This interesting visual puzzle could prove a good activity for young children who enjoy fairytale stories, or kids looking to test and exercise their eyesight, focus, concentration, stamina, patience and determination. Players can take advantage the absence of a clock timer to meticulously comb each image for those tough-to-spot differences and peas. Now, let’s join the adventure, and get sleuthing!
How to Play: There are 8 ‘chapters’, and 4 difficulty levels to choose from: Easy (6 differences per level & 8 Gold Peas to find in total); Casual (6 differences per level & 10 Gold Peas to find in total), Challenge (8 differences per level & 12 Gold Peas to find in total); and Hard (10 differences per level & 15 Gold Peas to find in total).
Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click on any difference you spot between the two images. If you are correct, the difference is eliminated, and you score points. However, if you are mistaken, you receive a 5 point penalty.
The number of remaining differences are displayed at the bottom of the game screen. Once all differences are found and eliminated, you progress to the next level. Find and click on the Gold Peas in order to increase your overall score (it is not essential that these Peas are found).
Tip: If you are struggling, concentrate really hard on the images. Every once in a while, a difference will randomly flash for a split second. While you may not notice it fully, some sudden movement may attract your attention to an area of an image.
