Interactive Visual Puzzle / Matching Game - Rotamania
A hard visual puzzle where you must create matching groups of 2 or 3 same-colored triangles to form a shape which is then eliminated from a grid: Rotamania is a highly-challenging, interactive, rotation-based matching puzzle game for elementary through high school ages (and adults too) where you must rotate different colored blocks in order to create and eliminate matches of 2 or 3 adjacent, same-colored triangles that form a shape / figure. With three difficulty levels featuring 2, 3 and 4 different colors respectively, you must carefully and methodically rotate the positions of the blocks, and try to figure out a solution that completely clears the grid, or gets you to a point where no more matches are possible.
Skills & strategy required: This stimulating and head-scratching, visual brainteaser game requires deep focus, concentration, analytical thinking skills, patience, great determination and stamina. Trial and error is also very important, especially of you want to take on the harder, 3 and 4-color levels. Tip: Use the larger triangles smartly and efficiently by trying to combine them with two smaller triangles.
How to Play: A Flash-based, matching puzzle game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). There are three difficulty levels to choose from: 2 Colors (Yellow & Purple), 3 Colors (Red, Yellow & Purple), and 4 Colors (Green, Red, Yellow & Purple). For first time players, we highly recommend the 2 Color level to begin with. If you want to switch between levels, simply click on the level of your choice from the list on the right hand side of the play area.
Your task in each level is to create and eliminate as many matching groups (shapes) of same-colored triangles as possible. Rotate blocks in order to create matching color shapes of two or "preferably" three same-colored triangles together. These newly created shapes (groups) can be a mix of 1 large triangle with 2 small triangles, or two ‘half block’ triangles back to back.
Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click on a block to rotate it clockwise. Press the Shift Key on your keyboard and then click on a block to rotate it counter-clockwise. If your rotation creates a valid matching group, that group disappears from the play area. The level is complete when you completely remove all blocks, or when there are no valid matches left to be made.
