Addition Math Game for Elementary School Age - Savvy Math
Play a visual addition math game for elementary school age children against the clock, and simultaneously exercise and test your reaction skills and number adding prowess! Savvy Math is an interactive, point-and-click, matching puzzle game where you must strategically select groups of numbers that add up to an ever-changing ‘target number’. Playing against time, you must quickly eliminate all of the numbers from increasingly-large grids.
Skills / strategy required: This fun, elementary school math level puzzle requires and exercises focus and concentration skills, addition-based knowledge, patience, determination, and stamina. Keeping a cool head under pressure really is important. Try to methodically pick out numbers that add up to the target number with a calm sense of urgency!
How to Play: A Flash-based, math addition puzzle / matching game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). In each increasingly-difficult level, your task is to eliminate all numbers from the grid before the clock runs out. Level 1 has a small 3X4 grid, Levels, 2-5 have a larger 6x8 grid, and later levels have grids of 9x12.
To eliminate numbers from the grid, you must click on you must click on numbers that add up to your ‘Target’ exactly. The Target is displayed in the bottom left corner of the play area. For example: If your target is 18 – you could click on a 9, 6, 2 and 1 to make a ‘group’ that equals exactly 18. Keep an eye on the clock in the bottom right corner of the game screen. Each time you create and eliminate a valid ‘group’, you replenish the timer.
You score extra / bonus points for making matching groups of numbers that are the same color. If you allow the clock to reach zero, it’s game over, and you must re-start from Level 1.
