Practice your math skills with this interactive online addition activity for younger children / junior elementary school students. Addition is a straight-forward mouse-clicking math game where you have to answer a series of simple arithmetic sums using numbers up to 10. Suitable for young kids who are taking their first steps with easier math problems, this educational learning aid challenges a child's cognition skills and ability to process math information at speed. As well as good observation skills, the game requires quick reactions as you choose the correct answer from the list of possibilities. The quicker you answer each sum – the more points you score! Enjoy the test!
How to Play: In each level, your mission is to keep answering the consecutive math problems that appear at the top of the game screen. There are 6 possible answers displayed underneath each sum, and you must click on the correct answer to score points and progress to the next problem. For example: the equation 7 + 2 = ? might appear. In this case, you click on the number 9 from the list of answers. If you click on an incorrect answer, a red X appears. You cannot move onto the next question until you click on the correct number. Once the green 'Points Bar' on the right side of the play zone is filled to the top, you progress to the next level. Note: There is a dynamic illustration of each problem in the center of the game area. You can use this illustration as a helpful guide to calculating the correct answer. If you need, simply count up the horizontal bars that appear on each side of the screen in order to find the answer (like counting your fingers).
