3D Minesweeper Game – Smart Mines 3D
Play a fun new version of a classic PC game! MineSweeper 3D is a challenging, intense and engaging, logic-based puzzle activity where you must ‘find and flag’ all of the dangerous mines on a large grid of over 200 squares or more. As Chief Minesweeper, you must ensure all ‘clear’ squares are removed by consulting helpful numeric clues about the number of neighboring mines in each area. There are no second chances here - if you make a mistake, and reveal a mine… BOOM!
This stimulating online version is very similar to the legendary PC game ‘Minesweeper’, and is a very good test of your logical problem solving skills and decision-making. Suitable for gamers young and older, you must carefully and methodically remove each square with precision. While you score more points for completing the grid quickly, a ‘gung-ho’ approach is not advised. A steady mouse-clicking hand is also important as you must click on the correct square at all times. One slip of the wrist - and it's curtains! Happy minesweeping!
How to Play:
Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click on any square on the grid to begin (Your initial click never reveals a mine, and often eliminates a decent-sized group of ‘clear’ squares). Note that there is now a collection of numbers where some ‘clear’ squares once were. These numerical values indicate the number of mines adjacent to that square. For example, if a ‘revealed’ square displays a number 2, then two of the remaining ‘unrevealed’ squares adjacent to it contain mines.
If you are 100% certain that an unrevealed square contains a mine, you must ‘flag’ it in order to distinguish it from other squares (For example, if there is a number 1 beside a lone, unrevealed square, then that square MUST be concealing a mine). To do this, Right Click on the offending square. The total number of mines is indicated at the top of the game screen. Above this is the number of flags that you have placed. Once all of the ‘clear’ squares have been removed, the level is complete. The faster you complete the level, the better your score.
