When it comes to snow, ice, and blizzard-like conditions, there’s no more resilient and reliable animal that the Siberian Husky. In Antarctic Guide, you control one of these brave dogs on a dash through dangerous icy terrain on a mission to collect supplies for your stricken friends. Based on the popular Disney movie Eight Below which follows the heroic journey of 8 legendary snow dogs, this a fast and furiously-paced skill game that requires very quick reactions and fingers. Dodge and weave around the dangerous icy path, avoiding boulders while picking up valuable supplies such as medicine, warm drinks, clothes, and other survival gear. Have you got the ability to guide this canine hero through this ultimate test? It's time for action!
How to Play: Select one of the 8 different Huskies on the main menu screen using your computer mouse or touchpad. You have 90 seconds to pick up as many supply items as you can by maneuvering your Husky through the snowy pathway. The dog starts running automatically. Use the Up and Down Arrow Keys on your keyboard to move the dog around the game screen, and hit Spacebar to increase the its speed.
The terrain is littered with extremely dangerous “Ice Boulders”. Each time your dog hits off one of these, you lose a life (called ‘Chances’). You can see how many Chances you have remaining in the top right corner of the game screen. You earn an extra Chance each time your dog collects a medicine case. If you run out of Chances, you have to start all over again. For each Supply Item your dog collects, you score points towards your overall total score. The Supply Items flash yellow and green to help you spot them while moving at high speed. See how many points you can score in 90 seconds.
