Hard 1 & 2 Player Running Platform Game - Narcissus
Play an awesome, fast-paced, retro-style, endless running platform action game with cool 8-bit graphics that is tricky for two players, and wildly difficult as a one player challenge! Narcissus is a slick one-button, multi-level run-and-jump game where you control and save two mirror-image runners simultaneously, and must survive by leaping across ravines and ledges at high speed across a side-scrolling obstacle course. The top runner moves as normal but the bottom runner's gravity is inverted! You can try to control both runners simultaneously, or enlist the help of a family member or best friend to run alongside you! The background music really adds to atmosphere and hectic action.
Skills required: This high-intensity, timing-based arcade skill game requires extremely fast reflexes, smooth hand-eye coordination skills, focus and anticipation skills. Stamina is vitally important here; there is no rest time for your runners, and the action moves at an extremely high speed. If you play on your own, multi-tasking skills definitely come into play as you attempt to judge the correct jumps for both runners simultaneously.
How to Play: A hard, Flash-based, one or two-player, side-scrolling platform running game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). In each of the 40 increasingly-difficult levels, your task is to simply guide both the top (black) and bottom (white) runners to the end of the side-scrolling course.
Each character runs forward automatically – you can only control when and where they jump. Press the Up Arrow or your W Key to make the top runner jump, and the Down Arrow or the G Key to make the bottom runner jump. If either runner slips up and falls into the abyss at the top or bottom of the play area, the level automatically re-starts – so be prepared! Even when you complete a level, the next one begins straight away! Press your P Key to pause and un-pause the action.
If this Flash-based game no longer works on IE11 or Chrome browser on your PC / MAC, try playing Firefox browser with Adobe Flash player installed.
