Online Turn-based Strategy Game against PC - Line Bounder
Line Bounder is a challenging, old school, turn-based strategy game against the computer where your objective is to reach your designated ‘goal area’ by drawing lines across a neon-style grid. The catch is that your PC opponent has its own target to reach, and you must try to outfox him by strategically drawing lines and creating a unique pathway to your goal area. Much like the copy-book game ‘Dots’, you can use existing lines as checkpoints that allow you to continue your line-drawing turn, and make multiple moves in one go!
Skills required: This stimulating and addicting logic and strategy puzzle game requires a blend of smart analytical thinking, strategic planning, creative engineering, determined problem-solving skills, and the ability to make calculated moves that further your position while blocking your opponent's route. Making moves quickly and carelessly will almost certainly result in defeat. Take your time, and try to figure out the optimal move each time it's your turn to draw a line.
How to Play: A Flash-based, one-on-one, line drawing skill game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). There are 5 different difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard, Challenge, and Hardcore. The first four difficulty levels refer to the quality of your computer opponent, while the ‘Hardcore’ level refers to the starting point of the action.
In each difficulty level, your task is to draw blue lines on the neon grid until you reach the red ‘goal area’ at the top of the game grid. Your computer opponent draws red lines, and tries to reach the blue goal area at the bottom of the grid. You and your rival take turns to draw lines. Use your computer mouse or touchpad to draw vertical, horizontal, or diagonal lines between two neon dots on the grid.
At the beginning of the battle, you can only draw one line at a time. However, as lines begin to fill up the grid, the possibility opens up where you can draw multiple lines in one turn. If a newly-drawn line hits the end of one of your previous lines, you get an extra move. This means that later on in the action, you can traverse large areas of the grid in one turn! Remember, your opponent has the same opportunities, so try to keep the action as far away from the blue goal area as possible.
