Flicking Soccer Game Online for Android / iOS / PC

Rating: 7.5/10 - 63 votes

Play a strategic, arcade version of Subbuteo-style soccer where instead of players running around, you must accurately ‘flick’ the ball into the goal using sliding player figurines! Playable on mobile phone, tablet, notebook, laptop, or desktop PC, Flicking Soccer is a very tricky, online soccer football simulation game which also offers an aiming & accuracy-based problem solving element.

In fast-paced, 2 minute games, you must use your otherwise static players to ‘flick’ the ball toward the opposition goal. You and your CPU computer opponent have 3 ‘flicks’ each in a row. You can use these three consecutive shots to advance the ball toward your opponent team's penalty box area, move your players into strategically-advantageous positions, or try to knock your opponents out of the way. Play as an international team in a World Cup-style format, but where draws are not enough to progress - you must win your matches!

This fun, multi-level, HTML5 soccer and skill-based game should work on iOS and Android devices as well as most web browsers for PC / Mac. To play the game with full screen, you may have to turn your device horizontally. As well as general hand-eye coordination skills and accurate mouse clicking or finger tapping, this game also requires good strategic planning, patience, determination and an appreciation for angles, power, and trajectory. Scoring goals can be quite difficult due to defending players, and the limits of the shot power in each flick. This means that you must analytically and creatively think about the best ways available to get the ball into the opponent's goal.

Tip: You don't have to flick the ball with each shot. You can use one flick to move one of your players into a better goal scoring position. Sometimes you just have to show those around you who's boss out on the pitch!

Fun Fact: The action in ‘Flicking Soccer’ very much mirrors the gameplay of the popular table-top football game ‘Subbuteo’. Featuring real player figurines, and a fold out pitch much like the cloth of a pool table, Subbuteo was very popular in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s before soccer video games became widespread.
