Online Slicing Puzzle Game for Android / iOS / PC - Cut It

Rating: 6.8/10 - 112 votes

Exercise your brain, logic and analytical thinking skills in Cut It, where you must carefully slice pieces of wood into equal or as close to equal pieces (proportionate sizes by percentage). This is an interesting, slicing-based brain teaser game where kids can learn about geometry in a fun and interactive way, and is playable on iOS and Android mobile phone, tablet, laptop, notebook, or desktop PC.

Cut It is a straight-forward, geometry-based puzzle game where you slice wood using your finger or computer mouse. Here, you have a limited number of swipes / slices to create a target number of similarly-sized wood segments in 72 increasingly-difficult levels. There are 4 difficulty levels – Very Easy, Easy, Medium, and Hard. You begin in Very Easy mode, and you must use Gold Stars earned from good performances to unlock further difficulty levels.

This online, multi-level, HTML5-based, math geometry activity and visual / logic puzzle game should work on iOS and Android devices as well as most web browsers for PC / Mac. To play the game with full screen, you may have to turn your device horizontally. Good spatial awareness, sharp analytical thinking, creative engineering skills, and common sense visual judgment skills are really important as you attempt to cut the wood into equally-sized sections. A certain knowledge of the basics  of fractions and general geometry can come in handy! A willingness for trial and error also comes into play as you are given a success rating at the end of each level – whether you have passed or failed. You can use these percentages to alter your slices in subsequent attempts.

Controls: Slice through the wood using either your computer mouse, or with a swift finger swiping action! The number next to the chainsaw icon at the top indicates how many cuts you have available, while the number next to the wood pieces in the top right corner indicates how many similarly-sized pieces of wood you must create to pass the level.
