Cool War Strategy Game - Shadez 3: The Moon Miners
Shadez 3: The Moon Miners is the latest in the epic and challenging war strategy Shadez games series for teenagers that really sorts the amateurs from the pros. You’ve already battled against the mechanical alien invaders on Earth! Shadez 3: The Moon Miners is set on the barren landscape of the Moon, where you play the role of the Commander of an elite mercenary force sent to protect the friendly Moon Miner colony which has come under attack from hostile aliens. You have to fight the invading enemy, and combat your way through a series of tough battlefields using a range of well-placed troops, powerful artillery, stealth tactics, awesome explosives, and more.
This all-action, fast-paced, mouse-clicking battle extravaganza requires good decision making skills combined with the ability to adapt to high-pressure situations. Your extra-terrestrial enemies are versatile, and there are many different types of missions to attempt – so you need plenty of strings to your military tactician’s bow. Have you got the brain and endurance to lead your forces to an all-important victory for Good over evil? Ok Commander – time to lead from the front.
How to Play: There are two different game modes to choose from – Training Mode, and Campaign Mode. We recommend that you try out at least a few of the levels in Training Mode to get used to the various controls that you need to master if you want to enjoy success in Campaign Mode. Select your game mode at the Level Select screen (the surface of the Moon). Training levels are indicated by a circular blue icon, while Campaign levels are indicated by a green, hexagon shaped icon.
Once you get to a main Battle Screen, you have to build up your army’s infrastructure. Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click on the Building Icons along the bottom of the game screen to construct important buildings, one-by-one. Buildings include a Military Barracks to produce troops, an Ore Refinery to collect funds, a Power Plant to produce electricity, and a Main Headquarters to act as a base. In later levels, these buildings are already in place, and you can upgrade their power and productivity as you progress through each.
Once you have this infrastructure set up, you can produce and send troops to engage the enemy. Click on the Barracks, and click the Troop Icons in order to spawn marines carrying rocket launchers, guns, and other weapons. Each troop costs a specific amount of Gold to create. If your Ore Refinery is up and running, the mining trucks automatically replenish your Virtual Income total every few seconds. You can side-scroll along the level using the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard (The enemy base is located on the right side of the landscape). To move your troops, click and drag your mouse across them to highlight the ones you want to control. Then, click on the area on the game screen you want them to march to.
Your objective is to totally eliminate enemy buildings and troops on the opposite end of the battlefield. After highlighting your troops, click on your desired target (this could be a specific enemy droid, or one of the main enemy buildings). Your Mission is complete when all enemy forces have been destroyed. Good luck!
