Image of Beauty Therapy Courses in Sydney, NSWThe Ella Baché College is a NSW “Apprenticeship Approved Provider” for salons located in Sydney, Illawarra & Newcastle areas. Apprentices can now complete their studies and earn their Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy qualification with the Ella Baché College of Skin and Beauty Therapy.

An apprenticeship combines ‘on the job’ training with a beauty salon, your employer, with the formal education and qualification being undertaken with an “Apprenticeship Approved Provider”. Beauty Therapy Apprenticeships take three years to complete, with your first two years requiring formal education with an apprenticeship approved college.

The Ella Baché College provides apprentices “block training” in our classroom environment. This is designed to provide you with as much flexibility as possible in your education studies and ‘on the job’ training.

We use a combination of ‘home based theory learning’, also known as correspondence or distance education, with homework & assignments that you send into the college. You are required to attend a series of four day practical training blocks held at our North Sydney campus. You must attend five of these throughout your apprenticeship. This is instead of having to attend your training on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
