Alliance Francaise Bordeaux Aquitaine:
The Alliance Française Bordeaux Aquitaine is a French language school located in the heart of Bordeaux in the south-west of France. We offer a range of French courses to students of all levels from beginner to advanced. Our courses are available all year around and students can choose to study from 1 to 4 weeks. Class size is between 10 and 16 students. Our aim is to promote the teaching of French language, to spread “Francophone” culture and the dialogue between world cultures.

The Alliance in Bordeaux organises general French courses with specific objectives, preparation for exams and courses for au-pair students. The teaching methods adopted by the Alliance Française de Bordeaux integrates the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages from the European Council. The adopted pedagogy is actional : It considers the French student as a social actor having to accomplish certain tasks in an environment and given situation. Through the various comprehension activities (oral and written) and expression (oral and written), you will therefore learn to act in French in everyday life or professional situations (for example : greeting someone, presenting yourself, making a rendezvous, understanding an instruction leaflet, giving your point of view, presenting a given subject…)

We offer year round Intensive French courses at all levels, DALF preparation, DELF exam preparation, summer French courses, au pair courses, specific courses, groups from 10 to 16 people, sessions from 1 to 4 weeks.

We also offer language workshops such as: French Grammar, French Commerce/Business, Conversation, Phonetics, Literature, Civilisation, French Songs, Gastronomy/Cooking, Oenology/Wine initiation.
