Wairarapa College is a state, co-educational school with boarding facilities, located in Masterton which blends tradition with innovation as it seeks to develop the full potential of each student. Sport at Wairarapa College:
All students are strongly encouraged to participate in sport and the school provides opportunities for involvement over a wide range of activities.
The School Swimming and Athletics Sports held early in term one provide an opportunity for students to be involved at a championship, graded or interhouse level. The cross-country event held later in term two is also an event for whole school participation.
Summer sports teams for both boys and girls operate in cricket and tennis at both senior and junior levels. School teams also play in local and regional competitions in indoor hockey, indoor soccer, canoe polo, kayaking, dragon boating, equestrian events and golf.
A high percentage (80%) of students are actively involved in winter sport codes. These include rugby, netball, hockey, badminton, soccer, basketball, orienteering and table tennis.
All students have the opportunity of playing in a winter sport of their choice at an appropriate level.
There is a strong staff input into coaching both summer and winter sports codes.
Wairarapa College sport is managed by the Code Heads with assistance from the Sports Co-Ordinator and the School's Sports Council.
The Sports Council assists with some funding for sports within the College and is responsible for the schools sporting policy in conjunction with the Senior Management of the school and the schools B.O.T.
Wairarapa College is a school that places a good deal of importance on pupils taking an active part in sporting pursuits.

Located in Christchurch, New Zealand, this is a boarding and day school of the highest quality. Rangi Ruru Girls' School is one of New Zealand's top achieving schools, offering independent Intermediate (Year 7 and 8) and Secondary (Years 9 to 13) education for Day and Boarding students. New Zealand's national qualification for secondary school learners is the National Certificate of Educational Achievement - NCEA. Internatonal students are welcome. International students who do not have English as their first language will usually be asked to sit an assessment test in Christchurch, to determine whether they are ready to study in mainstream classes. Calrossy Anglican School

Calrossy is an Anglican Day and Boarding Secondary School for girls located in Tamworth, Northern New South Wales. It has one of the largest boarding enrolments among NSW girls' boarding schools. There are full-time, fortnightly and weekly boarders. They arrive from overseas, Sydney, the NSW central and north coast but most from central and north-west NSW. The school's location in Tamworth means many families in central and northwest NSW have their daughters close to home. Students who live further away can travel quickly and easily using the regular daily services provided by air services, Country Link trains and buses. Calrossy is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Calrossy requires overseas students to arrange a local guardian with whom to stay during free weekends and term vacations. Students cannot remain at school during these scheduled holidays. Calrossy requires overseas applicants, for whom English is NOT their first language, to complete an English proficiency test after their application is received.
