Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus:
Berklee College of Music provides an intensive six-week for-credit summer music program for undergraduate students from around the world on our Valencia, Spain campus. Study options include Music Production & Technology, Music & Entertainment Business, and Liberal Arts & Mediterranean Cultural Studies. The Spain Summer Study Abroad program is a unique Berklee experience with a mix of technology, musical inspiration and practical experience while living on the vibrant Mediterranean coast for six weeks.
Summer Study Abroad Program:
- Duration: 6 weeks

Music Production and Technology:
The Music Production and Technology program track is designed to give students a comprehensive overview of the tools and technology used in the industry today. Courses / modules include:
- Weeks 1-3: Electronic Dance Music Creation with Ableton Live (2 credits)
- Weeks 1-3: Music Video Production and Dissemination (2 credits)
- Weeks 4-6: Recording Skills for Music Production (2 credits)
- Weeks 4-6: Mixing for Musicians (2 credits)
Music and Entertainment Business:
During an intensive six weeks, spend time with Berklee faculty and peers from around the world sharpening your knowledge in marketing, technology and legal aspects of international music business. Courses / modules include:
- International Music Business Seminar (3 credits)
- Managing a Technology-Driven Business (2 credits)
- Digital Strategies and Branding for Entertainment (2 credits)
- Legal Aspects of the Music Industry (2 credits)
Liberal Arts & Mediterranean Cultural Studies:
This program track gives students an opportunity to experience Mediterranean music, film and culture in person. Students select from the courses below for a maximum of 9 credits.
- Movement for Musicians (2 credits)
- Survey of Mediterranean Music Styles (2 credits)
- Rhythmic Techniques for Mediterranean Music (2 credits)
- History of Spanish Film (3 credits)
- The Art, Patrimony and Culture of Valencia (3 credits)
- Spanish 1-4 (subject to skill level placement - 3 credits)
- English as a Second Language (subject to skill level placement - 3-6 credits)
