Located in Waynesboro, an independent city located within the confines of Augusta County, Virginia, Fishburne Military School is a military boarding school for boys in grades 7-12. Military Boarding and Day Programs for Boys in Grades 7-12
Working in conjunction with JROTC, the Fishburne Leadership Training Program (FLTP) strives to identify, cultivate and refine leadership traits within members of the Corps of Cadets. By placing particular emphasis upon attention to detail, motivational management and personal accountability, Fishburne embues its graduates with the confidence, poise and experience to take their place as America’s future leaders.

The program of instruction is designed in building-block format so that, after the first year, each year of instruction builds on those subjects taught in the previous year.

The overall goals of Army JROTC are to teach students to:
• Appreciate the ethical values and principles that underlie good citizenship
• Develop leadership potential while living and working cooperatively with others
• Think logically and communicate effectively with others
• Appreciate the importance of physical fitness

Academics:
Fishburne’s academic mission has remained constant over the century and quarter of its existence. It has provided, and provides today, students with a learning environment that emphasizes individual attention and a caring atmosphere. Small classes, regularly scheduled help classes, and faculty-monitored evening study halls are the basis for this type of learning environment. Moreover, the faculty work hard with each student so that their strengths are accentuated, and their weaknesses are ameliorated.

7th - 8th Grade
:
In order to adequately prepare its Cadets with a solid academic foundation before they begin fulfilling graduation requirements, Fishburne offers the following seventh and eighth grade courses: English, language arts with French, Spanish, mathematics, health and physical education, science, social studies.

9th - 12th Grade:

Fishburne offers its students two options, the Academic Diploma and the Advanced Studies Diploma. Because the Advanced Studies Diploma is a demanding course of study, it provides the student with the courses required by the more competitive colleges and universities. Key subjects incude English, math, american history and government, world history or geography, laboratory science, fine or practical arts, JROTC program and electives.

College Preparation Course:
This course is designed to provide students the skills and knowledge to succeed on the SAT and the ACT. It includes classroom instruction, individual work with SAT/ACT preparation software, and practice tests.

Advanced Placement Courses:

We offer Advanced Placement courses in every field of study.

Athletics:
Fishburne is dedicated to developing the entire student-athlete. Fishburne welcomes all cadets to participate in athletics at the varsity and junior varsity level. Regardless of how cadets get involved or in which program, they'll find athletics are a great way to channel physical energy, stay fit and learn valuable qualities associated with participation— including teamwork, self-discipline and good sportsmanship. Main sports include baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, lacrosse and golf.

House of Hope Maryland, located in Silver Spring, MD (just 6 miles north of Washington, D.C.), is a co-ed boarding school for troubled teens aged 13-17.

This 9-18 month program includes Bible-based spiritual counselling, a High School Diploma program, an Accelerated Christian Educational (ACE) program, and other features.

This “safe haven” will serve as an academic and spiritual refuge for teens suffering from the negative influences threatening their lives such as drugs, alcohol, the occult, gangs, as well as sexual, mental and emotional abuse.

Blue Ridge School (BRS) is an all-boys, college preparatory, private boarding school for Grades 9 through 12.

We are located 1 mile north-west of Dyke in Greene County in Central Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our school is situated 20 miles north of downtown Charlottesville, and approximately a 2.5 hour drive from both Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia.

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Virginia and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

R-MA is one of the premier military schools in the nation, and the only Virginia military school offering Air Force JROTC. Our focus is on college-prep. 100% of our students are accepted to college.

Students in Grades 6-12 discover their potential and develop better academic and organizational skills. Students receive personal attention in the classroom and in the dorm.
