stile Italiano is a professional training centre for chefs & aspiring chefs who wish to receive a specialized training in Italian cuisine in Italy. We are located in Cercenasco in the Province of Turin in the Piedmont Region in Northern Italy, approximately 25 km south-west of Turin. Our school offers a wide range of courses, from one-day courses during your holiday trip around Italy, to the 6-months master's course. We have a special package for experienced chefs only who wish to follow their courses with work experience in highly recognized restaurants in Italy. The courses are taught by Italian chefs in Italian. Some courses are taught in English.

Culinary Arts Training Programs (For chefs and students specializing in Italian cuisine):

- Master Training Course in Cooking, Pastry & Italian Wines:
The master course is designed for chefs with a good basic knowledge of cuisine and offers the most advanced knowledge of Italian cuisine. It includes a 2-month training program in the school and 4-months work experience in restaurants run by experienced and recognized chefs.

- Basic Training Course in Italian Cooking:
The basic course is designed for chefs with a good basic knowledge of cooking and for well-skilled aspiring chefs. The course includes 3 weeks of teaching and 8 weeks of work experience in typical Italian restaurants and offers a comprehensive knowledge of the Italian cuisine.

- Pastry & Ice Cream Training Courses:  
Professionals and cooking sector entrepreneurs are the ideal participants of this one-week cookery intensive course. These courses aim to deepen a specific theme, allowing the participants to take advantage of a thoroughly specific and qualifying training. Lessons start on Monday and finish on Friday afternoon.

- Bread, Pizza & Focaccia Course:
Developed on the long experience of tradition and ' white art Italian in 5 days (Monday to Friday), the student specializes in the creation, production and sale of bread, pizza and focaccia.

- Professional Course for Sommeliers:  
For former students of hotel schools, chefs, restaurateurs who are all interested in the topic.

Duration:  Two weeks

The course will have the characteristics of "full immersion" and will be divided on a course of 11 days of study for a total of 82 training hours. Open from 9:00 am to 17:00 (with external visits from 9:00 to 18:00). The course will take place at the classroom Wine Castle Costigliole d'Asti.

- Culinary Tours:
Professional chefs and Italian cuisine lovers are the ideal participants of Culinary Tours (Tour Enogastronomici), which allow you to make the most of beautiful Italian settings: Castles, mountains, lakes, villas, archaeology and art cities, joined with the highest quality Italian products. Every day, a particular theme will be deepened: Wines, meats, cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables and pastry. Then, experts will bring participants to discover the places of production, where products will be tasted. At the end of each day, a special supper will be prepared using the local products and specialities.

The programmes start on Monday, at the school, with a day of work, practical demonstrations and individual or group activities. From Thursday to Friday, the activities will take place in the selected context. On Saturday, back in the school, we will put to the test the acquired skills. We provide Italian and English speaking guides. Other languages are available on demand for groups of over 15 people.

Cooking classes begin in the late morning or afternoon to cook a different full 4 course meal every day, which is then served for lunch or dinner at Mami Camilla.

The chef, provides each student with a book of recipes so that you could follow each day's menu and take notes and ask any questions that you may have. We always give the students the opportunity to have hands on experiences with every dish we make, that's why we limit our class size to no more than 5/6 students.
