Located in Cumming in Forsyth County, GA, Horizon Christian Academy is a growing non-denominational K-12 Christian school founded in 2000 and accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We are a small private school (approximately 300 students in total) with a committed focus on academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community service. Horizon Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or national origin.

Our current elementary campus Pilgrim Hall, allows for the education of grades K-6. Our secondary campus Sojourn Hall, caters for grades 7-12.

From the South/Atlanta – Take I-85 North towards Greenville. Take Exit 87 to GA 400 Cumming/Buckhead.(Toll Road). Continue on GA 400 North to Exit 16 Pilgrim Mill Road. Off exit turn Right onto Pilgrim Mill Road. Proceed 1/4 mile and turn Left at first light onto Freedom Parkway. Go 7/10 mile, school is located on the right behind Freedom Tabernacle.

From the West/Canton – Take Hwy 20 to Route 369 (Matt Hwy). Go right onto GA 400 South. Take exit 17. Off exit turn Left onto Keith Bridge Road. Stay in right lane and go to second light and make Right onto Freedom Parkway. Go 7/10 mile, school is located on the left behind Freedom Tabernacle.

From the North/Dahlonega – Take GA 400 South to Exit 17. Off exit turn Left onto Keith Bridge Road. Stay in right lane and go to second light and make Right onto Freedom Parkway. Go 7/10 mile, school is located on the left behind Freedom Tabernacle.

From the East/Gainesville – Take Route 369 West (Browns Bridge Rd.) Go approx. 15 miles and turn Left onto Rt. 306/Keith Bridge Rd.(Chevron on right ). Go approximately 1 mile to light and turn Left onto Freedom Parkway. Go 7/10 mile, school is located on the left behind Freedom Tabernacle.

Open Door Preschool, Augusta

Located in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, Open Door Preschool offers infant, toddler and preschool programs for children of 14 months to 5 years. The school was founded in 1964 when a group of parents opened the first integrated non-sectarian non-profit preschool in Augusta. It was the only preschool with an ‘open door’ policy and was entirely administered by the parents.
