Shady Oak Learning:
Located in central Fort Worth, Texas, Shady Oak Learning is a small, private elementary school with an emphasis on matching the teaching style and curriculum to individual students' needs. Shady Oak brings a unique blend of experience in private school settings, home-schooling and public education to create a one-of-a-kind place where learning is fun, engaging and challenging.
- 4-Day School Week
Our four day school week allows time for children to explore their natural talents and interests outside of the regular school schedule.
- Multi-Sensory Approach
We use a multi-sensory approach while incorporating movement and thinking skill training into our regular school day.
- Core Knowledge Sequence Program
Core Knowledge provides a clear outline of content to be learned grade by grade so that knowledge, language, and skills build cumulatively from year to year.
- Building Relationships
We build a relationship with the child, we observe what motivates the child and we conduct a learning abilities assessment to determine areas of strength.
Pam Jarvis, the founder of Shady Oak Learning is a life-long lover of learning.
