Around 1830, Esslingen was the most industrialised city in the kingdom of Württemberg and, to this day, it has remained a major centre for all kinds of engineering and related industries.

The region around Esslingen is home to some of the most famous corporations in the world of business. This mixture of industry, trade and culture is what gives Esslingen its special flair and atmosphere and forms the foundation on which the University of Applied Sciences has flourished.

Stuttgart International Airport is approximately 13km south of Stuttgart city centre and provides flights to and from a wide range of destinations throughout Europe.

Rail links connect Stuttgart to most other major German cities as well as operating international services to Paris, Strasbourg, Vienna and Zurich.

Technische Fachhochschule (TFH) - Berlin
Courses / Programs
TFH, the University of Applied Sciences, is the largest university of applied sciences and the second largest engineering university in Berlin with more than 8,000 students. Some academic programs have restricted admission. TFH Berlin offers a wide range of academic programs from traditional to innovative engineering majors and beyond. Typically it takes eight semesters of full-time study to complete an academic program at TFH Berlin. Moreover, TFH Berlin offers a variety of Master's programs. TFH Berlin cultivates partnership exchanges with universities throughout the world. A good example of such a partnership exchange concerns the academic program in Mathematics, which offers courses jointly with its partner university UHA Muhlhouse in France. Most of our other partnership exchanges take place with universities in the USA, China and Korea. Applicants not only must provide documentation of graduation from a secondary school at a level required for admission to a university of applied sciences, they must also provide certification of preparatory training in industry/government.

• Located just 15km south-east of Stuttgart, in the Baden-Württemberg region of Southern Germany, Esslingen Graduate School is an independent department of the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences.

• We provide two accredited Masters degree programs in Automotive Engineering fields to students from Germany and around the world. The language of instruction is English.

• Our specialized graduate degrees in the fields of Automotive Systems, and Design & Development in Automotive & Mechanical Engineering take 1.5 years (3 semesters) to complete.

Courses / Programs
The Dublin Institute of Technology has a long history of providing education up to the highest levels for over 100 years. The Institute currently offers an extensive range of undergraduate programmes at Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor Degree levels and Postgraduate programmes at Diploma, Master and Doctoral levels. Today DIT has an enrolment of almost 10,000 full-time third-level students pursuing eighty programmes.
