La Lumiere School:
La Lumiere School is situated on a beautiful rural estate in northwest Indiana, 25 miles west of South Bend, Indiana, 60 miles east of Chicago, Illinois, and 8 miles from both La Porte, Indiana and New Buffalo, Michigan. At the center of its 144 rolling acres is a picturesque country lake fed by natural springs.
Students can choose from a variety of sports programs including soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, conditioning, tennis, baseball, softball, golf, cross country and track. For the most part, coaches are teaching faculty members.
On our 144-acre campus, students can take advantage of athletic facilities, open fields, or computer lab. At the Sullivan Student Activity Center, students can relax, play games, or get a snack from the school store.
Weekly chapel programs help to develop awareness of current events and the needs of others. Recent speakers include a celebration of the life of founding headmaster, James Moore; and a talk with 1974 graduate, Paris Barclay an Emmy award-winning director.
