Kinsale School of English is an English language school in the town of Kinsale, 30 minutes drive from Cork City in southwest Ireland. We offer a range of English courses to students from around the world with all levels of English - from beginner to advanced. Teaching Methods:
Many students tell us they lack the confidence to speak English. We base our teaching on the Communicative Approach to language learning and we focus on communicating in English - to develop that missing confidence.
How do we achieve this? Very simply, we make it fun to learn - Kinsale town becomes your extended classroom. All your sports and creative activities are through English and shared with Irish students. We will give you temporary membership of Kinsale library (another opportunity to integrate). Our teachers will take you on historical walks and to a weekly market where you will be encouraged to communicate.
Back in the classroom, we will help you develop and improve your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Small classes mean we dedicate more time to each student. Our classrooms are in quiet areas where you will not be distracted.

Kinsale is one of Ireland's oldest towns and is known as the 'gourmet capital of Ireland'. There are more pleasant cafes and restaurants in its pretty and colourful streets than you will be able to visit. Evenings are lively, often with music in several bars where the welcome is always warm. You can enjoy visiting our craft shops, art galleries, historic castles and museums.
Kinsale School of English is a short walk from the centre of Kinsale. The town is in a beautiful harbour setting with many possibilities to fill your spare time: sailing, angling, whale-watching, kayaking, surfing – or relax and watch the fishing boats return with their catch. Kinsale also has three golf courses. You can learn English while you learn to sail, surf or ride. Our teachers will also take you on historical walks and to the farmers' market.
Cork city is one of Lonely Planet's top 10 cities to visit and 30 minutes by bus or car from Kinsale. Cork International Airport is a 20 minute journey: there are daily flights from all over Europe with Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Wizz Air. Ferries arrive at Cork from France and England. Dublin airport is easily accessible from Cork by rail, coach and air routes.

Irish College of English is a year-round, professionally-run English language school in Dublin, Ireland. We provide a wide range of beginner to advanced level English classes to adults and children from around the world. The SLC is a small and personal language school located just outside Wexford town in the southeast of Ireland. We are set in a castle building overlooking the river Slaney and the Blackstairs Mountains. We specialise in courses for adults and families.With a maximum of 8 and an average of 5 students, groups are small and teaching is student centred. Our fully qualified tutors have had many years of teaching experience in Ireland and abroad and are motivated and enthusiastic. The SLC is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year in June with many specials planned for everybody around.
