Koiné - Italian Language Centre in Rome provides an Italian language summer school on the beach in Rossano, a beautiful town of Calabria, a region in Southern Italy, south of Naples. We provide transfer from transfer from Lamezia Terme Airport (also in the Calabria region) to Rossano. The summer / vacation program includes 2-weeks of intensive Italian and visits around the historical centre of the Bizantine Rossano, the Corigliano’s castle and the Sibari’s escavation. During this time, you can enjoy popular local feasts, the typical food, the popular music and local good wine.

Italian Summer School “On The Beach”:
The Italian Summer School on the beach consists of:
- Two weeks language vacation in Rossano in Calabria, a region in the south of Italy
- Intensive Italian course (20h), for 2 hours per day from Monday to Friday
- Visits around the historical centre of the Bizantine Rossano, the Corigliano’s castle and the Sibari’s escavation
- One day boat trip and one day to the Aquapark Odissea 2000
- The vacation also includes a coulinary route in Agriturism, a kind of farm, where you can see how local products are made, to make them with the same productors, taste typical food and wine enjoying the calabrese nature
Our Teaching Method:
Our teaching methods aim at developing the student’s communication skills. Students actively practice the four fundamental functions of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Although we give particular attention to conversation to let students express themselves in Italian from the very beginning of the course. To engage all learners, teachers use communicative techniques and strategies aimed at involving students and creating a friendly and nice atmosphere that inspires enthusiasm and happyness in the learning process, essencial items to learn a foreign language.

Our Italian language tutors are DITALS educated at University for Foreigners of Siena and members of APIDIS (Italian Teachers for Foreigners Professional Association) with significant teaching experience. Their work is based on the passion and love for their own language and culture. Many of them have dedicated their professional life to teaching while others have found their vocation while living in a foreign country.

Located in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Florence, Accademia Riaci is a leading art and design academy that provides short-term summer art courses, design courses, and culinary art programs. Course options include Painting, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Shoe Design, Jewelry Making, Interior Design and Ceramics.
Private lessons are also available. In addition, we offer a fully-inclusive summer program, which includes accommodation and cultural excursions.
Summer courses are taught in English or Italian. You have the option to study for 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks or 12 weeks.

Sarteano Chamber Choral Workshop - Young Adult/teen Division

Sarteano Chamber Choral Workshop - Young Adult/Teen Division, is a summer workshop in Italy designed for the singer, conductor or music educator who loves singing and working in a chamber choral setting. We are an intensive music workshop. All of our tutors teach at the University level. The workshop is located in Sarteano, a picturesque hill town in the Siena province of Tuscany, dotted with palazzi and overlooked by a medieval castle. The workshop and final concert will be held in the centro storico (historic center), a pedestrian area of small winding streets, quaint homes, lovely stores, and fine restaurants. With its magical Renaissance ambiance, Sarteano is the perfect place to come to sing chamber choral music. You will be part of a twenty-six to twenty-eight voice group that will perform a capella choral music from madrigals to the twentieth century. Experience the joy of creating music on the highest level, working with other committed and talented young musicians, and learning the inner workings and dynamics of intensive chamber ensemble performance.
